So this is 'The Blog' to document the creation of our new home over on N Street. Chris and I are super excited about it and cannot wait to actually get moved in!
I am going to keep track of our progress by posting pictures and my thoughts of renovations as we go along. This is something that I have always wanted to do for the longest time, watching shows on HGTV and TLC about people who would take a structure that just needed a little bit of TLC and completely make it all their own and turn it around into a beautiful home. With the help of some of our crafty awesome friends, we are so completely going to do that!
I have forgotten some of the historical details of the house so I will ask Chris tomorrow and then I will post them. Its got a really cool history though... it used to be a three story (I think) home in the heights that his grandmother lived in until sometime in the 50's whenever the top floor was detached and moved over to Midtown. Anyways, more on that in the next post. I will have to get the details straight.
